Questions And Answers On Being A Magician’s Assistant

Shelley asks…

What to wear as a magician’s assistant?

I’m 14 and I’m in this sort of talent show in front of the entire seventh through twelfth grades. I’m really insecure about my body (so being in the show really wasn’t a good idea) so don’t give me “leotard and fishnets” or anything sexy-assistant. I’m really skinny, especially my legs (not really in a good way). What do I wear? And I don’t know if I can wear heels because of the act I’m doing, I might not be able to work with heels (because of the height of the box, etc.).
you guysssss I’m only a freshman okay and this is in front of the student body and teachers and headmaster and everyone right. so seriously think about what they would ALLOW

Questions And Answers On Being A Magician Guide

Helena asks…

Maple story cleric or wizard (ice/lighting) or (fire/poison)?

Hi,
I’m not sure what i want to do for my 2nd job advancement. I already have a lvl 35 cleric, but i didn’t like the name, wasted a ton of money, and messed up on the ability and skill points. So i made a second character. Is it better to be a wizard than a cleric?

1. Out of the three, which lvls the fastest?
2. I want to make a guild, so I need one that can save lots of money…so probably cleric?
3. What are the pros and cons of each one?? and i doubt i’ll make it to the 3rd advancement, so which one is the most fun for the 2nd job advancement???
Do you know any good guides for a magician/2nd job advancement?
Thanks in advance!!

admin answers:

1.ice/lightning
2.ice/lightning.
3.ice/lighting has a mob attack which offers great exp
fire/poison has a strong single monster attack

Nancy asks…

In MapleStory what’s the best way to distribute AP for an Evan?

I just need to know if the Evan’s AP is different from the original Magician and if not, where a good guide is for a Mage. My Evan is lv. 45 and I need to know how to put AP, I use it mostly on my INT, but I started missing often so for the last 3 levels I put all 5 on LUK.

admin answers:

The best choise is Auto-Assign. Why? Auto-Assign emables you to distribute the Ap you have earned after every level correctly without missusing them like adding AP to your str, and dex, which is useless. Lucjless mages are strong and thier accuracy is not a problem. However, most magician equipment requires Luk. The maximum luk needed for a magician or an evan is 120. However this can be different if you possess zakum helmet that gives lot of luk, Or some equips that give a tremendous amout of luk.

Questions And Answers On Being A Magician In Australia

Don asks…

Which of the following three titles should I use?

The plot is briefly about a guy, Max Tyler, who discovers quite by accident and much to his disgust that his dad’s new girlfriend (his parents got a divorce a long time ago) is a vampire. Abhored, he runs away to his friends place, Wilfred Hanley, who’s a computer geak, walking encyclopedia, and an avid fantasy and mythology fan. He’s your overall know-it-all. When he musters up the courage to tell him, he is surprised to discover that Wilfred is not at all shocked and is well aware of the fact (this is all a work of fiction by the way) that vampires do exist. (also, they live in London, England)

Max also finds out from Wilfred that different races of vampires, amongst other “fantasy” creatures, have invaded England over the years. The most prominant of vampiric invasions have been the Vikings. Then there were also the werewolves who were the Picts and Scots. The Romans were Centaurs and Satyrs; and William the Conquerer and his gangs that followed were elves.

Upon asking who lived in England before all the invasions, he learns that it was the fae or faerie (plural), sprites, and pixies who lived there. Africa is populated by the half-dogs, half-men guys and the states is populated by something else (have to see what fits). Dragons have always lived in England and almost every other country in the world. Russia and those kind of countries were populated by fierce shapshifters, men who changed to bears in battle, whilst China, India, and Australia where populated by ogres, trolls, and land-krakens (top half are men and the bottom half are like octapuses).

When asking why so many races raided and invaded England, he finds out that they were searching for Excalibur: the Sword of Kings. Yes. Believe it or not, whoever holds the sword can easily ward off any races (especially vampires) and the man who holds the sword will reign for eternity until the sword is taken away from him or he is killed in battle. However, the sword mostly protects him unless he is shot by an arrow or some such thing.

He then finds out that the Sword of Kings was forged to beat back the first vampiric invasion when King Arthur was in power. The Centaurs and Satyrs had left (mostly) England because their own kingdom was under attack by the werebears and other vampires. Also, they missed the warm climate of their home. So it was that Merlin the Magician arose and forged Excalibur. They were unable to make the sword prior because the Romans were in power and controlled the weaponry. Also, all magic and worship (to other gods than those the Centaurs and Satyrs payed homage to) where banned throughout the Romanic Empire.

Unfortunately, Excalibur broke during the battle between the vampires because they used demonic powers from the Underworld. Eventually, King Arthur and the faerie kingdom won and the vampires retreated for a time. Sadly, the Summer King died with the sword because their lifelines were linked. When that happened, the vampires re-invaded England. They mainly raided the coast because they were wary that the faerie stil might have had a sword like Excalibur.

They did not. When Max asks what all this has to do with his present time and how he can get rid of his dad’s girlfriend before she turns on him, Wilfred tells him that he believes Excalibur was buried with King Arthur in the center of the Stonehenge in Salisbury Plain. Also, the vampires across the world have forged an alliance with themselves and all the other demonic races against the faerie, Centaurs, and the Satyrs who must now band together to defeat them.

The only way to push back the invasion is by finding Excalibur. Max also learns that King Arthur is his distant anscestor and he is the only living person of the Arthurian family tree. Therefore, they can easily reforge the sword but it will only work for him because it requires the blood (during the forging) of a member of King Arthur’s line.

So it is that Max, reluctantly, teams up with Wilfred and his friends other previously unknown budies–faerie, centaurs, and satyrs–to reclaim Excalibur and save England from yet another invasion. Little do they know that this war will become the dreaded World War III that so m any feared would end the entire world.

Well, that’s about it. Max might get together with one of Wilfred’s friends. I know this is kind of like Percy Jackson and the Olympions but I wanted to write somthing like this for a long long time. There aren’t any gods in my story to make it easy as all the fantasy stuff is a lot for just one book. I might make it into a trilogy but for now it is just going to be one book. The titles I had in mind are stated in the following…

1. Clash of the Vampires
2. Clash of the Rages
3. Clash of the Forces
4. Sieze the Sword
5. Excalibur: The Sword of Kings
6. Excalibur Quest
7. Exctracting Excalibur

Which one should I use? Also, please be honest with yourself and don’t steal all
By the way, elves are from North America & goblins are from South America.
By the way, elves live in North America and goblins in South America. The elves also team up with Max Tyler and Wilfred Handly’s gang to help them in their quest. Max will probably get together with an elf. They’re like “Red Indians.” In case you’re wondering, all the “fantasy races” are the powers behind the humans and what keeps them alive and stuff. They also are in charge of keeping the Underworld zombies at bay. That’s why they charge “income tax” (sacrifices) to their “gods” which are actually there for show to get people’s attention. (THIS IS ALL FICTION SO DON’T GET ANY IDEAS!!!)

admin answers:

I like #4 title. Seize the Sword.
Excalibur and Clash titles are more common in my view and I would definately have a second look at number 4 title.
In my mind it also suggests battles and quests from times of old.
Am a great fan of anything do do with King Arthur and Magical Swords.
Did you mean to misspell seize? If not.. Oops!

Kylee asks…

Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

Ok.. umm I’m 13 years old and don’t have much money to spend so what is the best way to obtain Dark Magician of Chaos?

My 3 options are:

1. Buy Gold until I get one.. (very unreliable.. what’s the ration i get DMoC. One every box? One every 3 packs?)

2. Buy it online as a single. (I live in Auckland, New Zealand. There’s none on Baydragon and Trademe. Please be reasonalble. I’m willing to spend max. 30)

3. My friend is going to Australia. (Stupidest and dumbest option yet) Get him to buy my some Invasion of Chaos packs. It probably won’t work so how good is that set?

Thanks!

admin answers:

It’ll take you about 4 gold to get DMoC so that is £45 in the UK (don’t know your prices but tey will be similar)

On ebay form US or UK it’s cost you converting with xe.com it’ll cost you £25 or $40 AUD

Don’t try to get in invasion of chaos the chance is to low and finding somewhere that still sells them will be hard.

The best thing to do is find a bargin on Ebay or trade.

Magic Tricks As a Hobby – How to Become a Magician

Have you ever watched a magician in action and secretly wished that you were the one performing all those amazing feats and getting the audience’s applause? Magic has fascinated countless millions of people through the ages and used to be a mysterious art shrouded in deep secrecy. Now its sealed doors have been opened and almost anyone who has an interest in magic can take it up as a rewarding and potentially lucrative hobby.

Before I go further, I would like to clarify that when I talk about magic here, I’m referring to magic tricks- the art of illusion. It is the branch of entertainment whereby secret principles, props and skills are used to make impossible effects look like they are really happening.

Magic tricks are sometimes mistakenly assumed to be supernatural events caused by spiritual forces, simply because they look so real. No matter how incredible they look, magic tricks are not created by any supernatural means whatsoever but through some clever logical methods.

Okay, so where do you go to learn magic? If you happen to be born into a family of magicians or if someone you know is a magician, you are very fortunate because you can ask that person to be your magical teacher. Magic used to be passed down from generation to generation this way.

Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone. There are other ways to go about it. Try to look up your local phone directory or yellow pages for magic stores or shops. They are available in most big cities in Western countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Europe. Unfortunately however, they are not usually found in other countries.

The next best thing is to search your local library or book stores for magic books. These are books that teach you various tricks that you can perform with cards and common household objects. Most of these tricks are quite simple but they are good enough for a start. You can also try looking in toy stores for magic kits. These are packaged magic tricks that come with complete instructions and the props that you need to perform them. They are good as gifts for aspiring magicians too.

If all the above fail, the last resort is to visit online magic stores. Just do a search at any of the good search engines and you will find many good reputable magic websites that sell a huge variety of magic tricks, props, books, and DVDs. Any magician, from a beginner to an advanced professional, would be able to find something suitable for his or her skill level.

What are the benefits of taking up magic as a hobby? As a semi-professional magician who has been performing magic for as long as I can remember, I found that magic has improved my confidence, public speaking skills and mental alertness. On top of that, it has also provided many hours of fun on many boring evenings and through the years has helped me gain many friends. If you are good, it can also be a rewarding career.

Therefore, if you have even the slightest interest in magic, I urge you not to wait any longer. Jump right in and enjoy the wonderful hobby of magic!
